Before reaching the coast, this comprehensive tour journeys inland to Tiznit, historically known as the 'Silver City' of Morocco. Here, you will step behind its massive, imposing ancient pink-red medina walls to explore a rich history of Berber craftsmanship. You will visit the world-famous, bustling silver markets, watching highly skilled artisans handcraft intricate, traditional jewelry using techniques passed down through countless generations.
Leaving the history of Tiznit behind, the journey continues south along a spectacular, sweeping coastal road that winds through the pristine, sleepy seaside town of Mirleft. Upon finally arriving at Legzira Beach, you will be instantly mesmerized by its incredibly vast, towering natural red sandstone arches, violently carved out of the cliffs over millennia by the crashing waves of the wild Atlantic Ocean. The sheer scale and vibrant, fiery color of these geological marvels create a surreal, otherworldly landscape that is an absolute paradise for photographers, nature lovers, and explorers.
You will be given ample free time to walk directly underneath these majestic, cathedral-like arches—particularly impressive during low tide. The contrast of the deep blue ocean washing against the fierce red rock makes for phenomenally striking photos. Following your exploration, you will sit down to enjoy a spectacularly fresh, locally sourced seafood lunch at a rustic restaurant right on the sand, listening to the roar of the ocean before making the scenic drive back to your hotel.
